LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Coach Bobby Petrino said Thursday that linebacker signee Courtney Gaston will begin his college career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, and offensive coordinator Garrick McGee said Gaston would be rooming with defensive tackle Calvin Barnett, another Razorbacks signee.
“We just have a couple of guys who are corresponding back and forth with the eligibility center,” Petrino said. “I’m encouraged we’re going to be in good shape.”
Linebacker Jarrett Lake is one of the players who has not yet been cleared, but Petrino said he felt Lake had a solid chance of being eligible.
