BENTON COUNTY — A Wednesday report about Bob Evans’ resignation from the Bella Vista Property Owner’s Association board of directors said Evans resigned, in part, because board chairman Anita Werts denied his two written requests for executive sessions to discuss matters related to General Manager Tommy Bailey. Evans said that his requests were not for executive sessions to discuss Bailey’s job performance, but for private board meetings to discuss the board members’ responsibilities and the responsibilities of the general manager.
