Dodgers Stay Alive

— Fayetteville Lindsey & Associates used a nine-run second inning to claim a 14-5 win over Texarkana to stay alive in the Senior American Legion Baseball State Tournament late Tuesday night.

Fayetteville (31-10) tagged Texarkana with its first loss in the double-elimination tournament at Burns Park in North Little Rock. Lindsey played Benton in an elimination game late Wednesday.

The winner takes on Texarkana for the championship and a spot in the regional.

Cole Faulconer had three hits, including a three-run home run in the big nine-run second. Brandon Zamzow also went 3-for-5. Gordon Miller and Matt Stelte also added two hits apiece. Stelte had a solo homer.

Tyler Fourkiller picked up the win in relief of starter Nick Reed. Fourkiller allowed one run in three innings. Mike Sisco finished up with four scoreless innings of relief for the save.
