HARRISON — Frances Atkinson Morris, died July 23 at the age of 82. Memorial services are 1 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at Holt Memorial Chapel. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Stroope and Rita Pogue; and four grandchildren. Memorials to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Ozark Humane Society or Hospice of the Hills.

LOWELL — Randall Lee Jones, 30, of Lowell, Ark., passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010, at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Ark. Randy was born on Dec. 1, 1979, in Springdale, a son of Darrell Jones and Patty Kelley Jones. Randy was an artist, who especially enjoyed black and white drawings and was active in Aikido martial arts.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Jones of the home; a daughter, Niki Rife of the home; his father, Darrell Jones of War Eagle, Ark.; his mother, Patty Hennington of War Eagle, Ark.; two brothers, Paul and Nathan Jones of Springdale, Ark.; a grandmother, Florence Campbell of Lowell, Ark.; a grandfather, Jeff Dunbar of Lowell, Ark.; a uncle, Jeff Dunbar of Lowell, Ark.; his mother-in-law, Diana Bradberry; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Phillips Cemetery in Lowell, Ark. Pastor Ben Rowl will officiate the service under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

PINE BLUFF — Dorothy Norton Reed, age 85, of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Reed was born March 21, 1925, in Rison, a daughter of the late Elmer Guy “Buck” Gavin and Geneva Shelby Gavin. Mrs. Reed was reared and educated in Rison. She was a graduate of Rison High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her first husband, Carlton Norton, in 2002, her second husband, Leonard Reed, in 2008, a son, John David Norton and a brother, Felton Gavin. She is survived by a son and daughterin-law, Jerry and Judi Norton of Pine Bluff; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Ryan and Leigh Norton of Fort Smith; two greatgrandchildren, Rylee Norton and Meg Norton, both of Fort Smith; brother and sister-in-law, J.W. and Pat Gavin of Herbine.

Funeral services will be graveside Thursday, July 29, 2010, at 10 a.m. in Roselawn Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with Dr. Roger Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends at Robinson’s, Wednesday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorials may take the form of contributions to Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 5130 Bobo Road, Pine Bluff, Ark. 71603.
