Gordon Leon Browning

PEA RIDGE — Gordon Leon Browning, 73, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born July 31, 1936, at Seligman, Mo., to Chester and Bea Browning.

He was retired from the U.S. Air Force where he was a flight engineer during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action and seven Air Medals. He enjoyed country western music, and was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Ron Browning, of Seligman.

Survivors are his loving wife, Cynthia Thomas Browning of the home; one son, Darren Browning and wife Teresa of Plano, Texas; two grandsons, Greg and Sean Browning of Plano, Texas; and one sister, Mary Lou Ragland of Shell Knob, Mo. Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Pea Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Rick Booyer off ciating and military honors by Rogers VFW Post #3031.

Visitation is set for 5 to 7 p.m. today, July 26, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome. com.

Georgia Loretta Wallner

BELLA VISTA — Georgia Loretta Wallner, 94, of Bella Vista died July 24, 2010, at the Gardens at Osage Terrace in Bentonville. She was born Nov. 20, 1915, in St. Louis to Earl and Amanda Harmon Spitznagle.

She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, fishing and sewing.

Survivors include one son, Donald Wallner and wife, Carolyn, of Bella Vista; one daughter, Marlene Ann Graul and husband Donald of St. Louis County, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren.

She will be buried next to her husband at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home.
