LITTLE ROCK — Springdale Har-Ber was eliminated in the losers bracket quarterfinals of the National Select 7-on-7 Championships on Saturday morning in Hoover, Ala.
Har-Ber, the defending Class 7A state champion, opened Saturday with victories over Griffin, Ga., (31-24) and Paducah (Ky.) Lone Oak (22-13) before being eliminated by Hoover, Ala. (30-10).
Shiloh Christian, the defending Class 4A state champion, also began Saturday in the losers bracket of the 32-team tournament.
Shiloh Christian was eliminated in its first game, losing 41-35 to Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin Christian.
Har-Ber finished pool play Thursday and Friday with a 6-1 record. Shiloh Christian was 2-5.
