BELLA VISTA — Asphalt work on U.S. 71 in Bella Vista will require lane closures beginning next week, Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials said.
The lane closures will be on U.S. 71 between Riordan Road and the Missouri state line. The work will resurface approximately four miles of highway. The contract was awarded to APAC-Central of Fayetteville for $1,116,600, according to a news release.
The project will require alternating lane closures in the north and southbound lanes beginning Thursday and continuing through Aug. 23, weather permitting. The lane closures will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each weekday.
