FAYETTEVILLE — Police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy whose body was found at an apartment Sunday morning.
Officers arrived at Grandview Apartments, 401 W. 24th St., Apt. 25, about 10:50 a.m. Sunday to assist Central Emergency Medical Service with a medical emergency. At the scene, police found an unresponsive toddler identified as Dominic Doss.
Fayetteville police Lt. Jamie Fields said the cause of death, as well as the circumstances surrounding the incident, are under investigation.
Investigators questioned the parents - Brandon Doss, 29, and Amy Grub, age unknown - Wednesday afternoon.
“We’re speaking to everyone who has any interest in this case,” Fields said. “We haven’t ruled anything out. We’re still in the early stages of our investigation, but we will be releasing more information.”
Fields said she couldn’t comment further because of the pending investigation.
