SPRINGDALE — Joe Rollins will be the new assistant principal at Springdale High School, district officials said Wednesday.
Rollins recently served as an assistant principal at George Junior High School, where he oversaw ninth-grade students. He has worked in the school district since 2004 and is the son of Superintendent Jim Rollins.
Springdale High employs three assistant principals. The position came open June 30 after Pete Joenks was promoted to principal.
Former Principal David Kellogg resigned to take a job with the Southern Regional Education Board.
