Tauheed Salaam, project director for a Muslim community being developed in Little Rock’s John Barrow neighborhood, said a mosque eventually will be built in the community, although no date has been set. Until then, residents plan to worship in a multipurpose center expected to be completed by the end of 2011. A story in Monday’s editions incorrectly said plans for the mosque had been dropped from the project.
The Miss America pageant will take place in Las Vegas in January. A story in Sunday’s edition about Alyse Eady winning the Miss Arkansas Pageant incorrectly stated where the national pageant will take place in 2011.
