Blanks appear on Razorbacks’ roster

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas’ fall roster was released Tuesday with the arrival of its football media guides, and there were notable departures from the 2009 roster.

Junior quarterback Nick Petrino, Coach Bobby Petrino’s son, is not on the roster.

Asked about Nick Petrino’s absence, Arkansas associate media relations director Zack Higbee said the roster in the media guide is up to date with the exception of listing receiver Carlton Salters, who left the team last week to join the San Francisco Giants organization.

Also gone from the roster are fullback Mitchell Bailey, receiver Neal Barlow and fullback Jovan Davis.
