The Arkansas unemployment rate for June has fallen two-tenths of a percentage point to 7.5 percent.
The Arkansas Department of Workforce Services said Tuesday that eight major employment sectors showed gains in June.
The national unemployment rate also dropped two-tenths of a percentage points to 9.5 percent, two full percentage points higher than the Arkansas rate.
In Arkansas, the manufacturing sector added 1,700 jobs and educational and health services added 2,800 positions.
The Arkansas unemployment rate is the lowest since October 2009.
