Construction is nearing completion for the new retail and parking center at the corner of Garland Avenue and Douglas Street. The new center, located at Garland Ave and Douglas Street in Fayetteville, will contain 30,000 square feet of retail space and 1,500 parking spaces for students, faculty and the general public.

FAYETTEVILLE — Construction is almost finished for the new University of Arkansas bookstore, computer store and lab supply departments.

The new center, located at Garland Ave and Douglas Street in Fayetteville, will contain 30,000 square feet of retail space and 1,500 parking spaces for students, faculty and the general public.

According to a press release distributed today, the university plans to open the bookstore and computer lab on Monday, July 26. Free, one-hour parking will be remain in affect until August 23, when the entire parking garage opens for use.
