‘Terrible Out There’

Motorists try to avoid stalled traffic on Interstate 540 by cutting through Lowell but are themselves stalled when a tractor trailer fails to climb the grade approaching U.S. Highway 71 in Lowell Friday.

When Sanford Yarbrough of Houston pulled his white box truck into the Bentonville Police Department on Friday morning, he grabbed a Rand McNally road map and a pen and waved at a man clearing snow from the parking lot as he walked inside.
