Over the last decade, Fayetteville’s experience with Bikes, Blues & BBQ — and the rally’s experience with Fayetteville — has reached a kind of equilibrium. After a few years in which the rally’s size seemed to overwhelm some downtown businesses and residents, the organizers and downtown folks reached a bit of a truce through diplomatic efforts on both sides.
