Sandra Fletcher of Springdale has been making memory bears for three years. The bears are designed to invoke memories of a loved one by using clothes or other fabric important to the subject.

When Cindy Robinson opened her birthday box last November, she thought her husband had given her quilted placemats. Then she dug deeper.

"Born in Black Oak, near Jonesboro, Fletcher was raised in California. She didn’t aspire to sewing as a career. Instead, “I always wanted to be a hairstylist.” I love how creative people often are talented in several areas, but then there is that one area that they just stand out above all the rest! Congrats! Do you need a Web site?
