Fayetteville Announces Spring Cleanup Dates

— Fayetteville scheduled four ward cleanups for the disposal or recycling of large or bulky items for the spring.

Each cleanup is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

Ward 4 on March 20: Owl Creek School, 375 N. Rupple Road, and Shaver Foods parking lot, behind the Randal Tyson Track Complex, 1367 S. Beechwood Ave.

Ward 3 on April 10: Elks Lodge, 4444 N. Crossover Road, and Vandergriff Elementary School, 2975 E. Township St.

Ward 1 on April 24: Root Elementary School, 1529 E. Mission Blvd., and the Solid Waste and Recycling Facility, 1560 S. Happy Hollow Road.

Ward 2 on May 1: Woodland Junior High School, 7 E. Poplar St. in the front parking lot, and Church of Christ, 310 W. Center St.

The bulky waste cleanups are specifically for large bulky items that cannot fit into a resident’s normal trash cart. Bags of normal household garbage regularly handled through curbside pickup will not be accepted.
