Family, Friends Remember Ahern

MEMORIAL SERVICE - Barbara Postert, left, Stephen Postert and Mary Salnicki, all of Omaha, Neb., sing “How Great Thou Art” while attending a memorial service Friday for James Ahern at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista. Ahern, 41, was shot to death on Jan. 20 by Bella Vista Police Cpl. Coleman Brackney following a high-speed chase. The incident is still under investigation. Barbara Postert and Salnicki are the sisters of Ahern.

Family and friends gathered Friday night to remember James Ahern, who was killed last month by a Bella Vista police officer.
