BENTONVILLE — Open House Set For Preschool
Explore and Discover Preschool will hold an open house/registration for the 2010-11 school year from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at the First United Methodist Church, 201 N.W. Second St. in Bentonville.
Parents may enroll children who are age 3 by Aug. 1 in the Tuesday/Thursday class. The Monday/Wednesday/Friday class is for children who are age 4 by Aug. 1.
Parents need to bring their child’s birth certificate, up-to-date immunization records, complete a registration form and pay the $55 registration fee.

County Offices Closed Monday
All Benton County government offices will be closed Monday for President’s Day. County offices will open Tuesday.
Candidate Forum Is April 6
Bella Vista Village property owners will have an opportunity to hear from the candidates before casting their votes.
Candidates vying for three seats on the Property Owners Association’s Board of Directors will speak at a forum sponsored by the Northwest Arkansas Community College’s Bella Vista campus, College at the Crossing, and the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce.
The forum will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 6 at the Highlands Crossing Center, 1801 Forest Hills Blvd., a POA news release stated.
Seating will be limited to the first 100 people.
Six property owners are seeking a seat on the association’s Board of Directors. The candidates are:
Dick Hartman, Tim Hull, Kelli Russell, Charlie Teal, Larry Verissimo and Terry Wilson.
Ballots will be mailed out in mid-April, and the results will be announced at the association’s 44th annual meeting at 6 p.m. May 18 at Riordan Hall.
