FAYETTEVILLE

Dona Ramey Bogan, 90, of Fayetteville died Saturday, February 6, 2010 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She was born January 26, 1920, in Brentwood, Arkansas, the daughter of Lewis A. and Josephine Hobbs Ramey.

She was a longtime resident of Fayetteville. She and her husband, Ellis C. Bogan, founded, owned and managed the Paradise Valley Golf Club in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by Ellis in 1980. She moved to Fort Smith in 2000 to be near her daughter and grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith. She was an avid golfer, gardener and enjoyed reading. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roger Ramey.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith A. Teas of Fort Smith ...
