Career Programs Set For Springdale

NTI wants to be the official provider of vocational-technical classes for high school students and is applying with the state to be the Òsecondary career center.

Free classes in auto repair and other career fields will remain available to high school students under an arrangement to shift those programs from NorthWest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville to Northwest Technical Institute in Springdale.

Northwest Technical Institute

Northwest Technical Institute, a vocational-technical school in Springdale, awards certificates to students who complete a field of study. The school does not award college degrees. It is overseen by the governor’s office and the Arkansas Department of Career Education.
