I hope the teachers will get the money and not have this funding funneled into special projects for a limited few such as sports or minority needs. We have got to keep the middle of the road student and backbone of the community here or we can close the doors and shut off the lights. Keeping excellent, seasoned teachers is the best insurance for our city’s future. They are the very fiber that holds this community together and one of the few reasons people stay here. School board: We expect your action on this to not rubber stamp some administrative wild-hare.
