Bella Vista Police Find Stolen Vintage Cars

— One person was arrested and two restored vintage cars were recovered, according to Bella Vista police.

Officers arrested Jesse Cole Fisher, 18, of 6188 Robin Road in Bella Vista on Saturday in connection with felony theft by receiving. He was released on a $750 bond.

Bella Vista detectives recovered two classic vehicles, which had been reported stolen July 28 from Simple Pleasures in Bella Vista by owner Ken Minor, according to a police report.

A person whose property borders Bella Vista reported seeing a Chevrolet Camaro on his land Friday evening. On Saturday morning, a Corvette was seen in the field, and it was determined that it was one stolen from Minor, authorities said. The Camaro was gone.

The Corvette was returned to Minor on Saturday afternoon, according to a news release from the Bella Vista Police Department.

The Camaro was located a short time later at Fisher’s house, police said. It was also returned to Minor.

Bella Vista Police Chief Ken Farmer said he could not provide further details Monday because reports on the investigation were not complete.
