Officials look to future with 5.2-mile U.S. 62 bypass on horizon

Mitch Bartholomew (left), owner of Frederick’s One Stop in Prairie Grove, chats with customer Hank Garrett, who lives four blocks outside the town’s borders. Bartholomew purchased the convenience store four years ago from Leonard Frederick, who built the original structure in 1975.
The heart of this community is the busy intersection of Pittman and Buchanan streets.
