EMPLOYEES TO TAKE A FURLOUGH DAY

Pool rates will double, trail lights will go dark after 11 p.m. and city employees will have an extra day off during the July 4 weekend — this one without pay.

Maybe they need to cut out things like the Gulley Park Summer Concert Series and Lights of the Ozarks before asking employees to take a furlough.
