BEEBE Beebe police say they’ve charged a 23-year-old woman who was a substitute teacher at Beebe High School with having sex with a 16-year-old boy.
Police say the relations between Jessica James of Beebe took place in November 2009. They say Jessica James was employed as a substitute teacher from September until she was fired in December.
She was arrested April 8 and charged with 1st-degree sexual assault, a class A felony. After being held overnight in the White County Jail at Searcy, she was released the next day on $50,000 bond.
