Taxpayers Aren’t Wasting Refunds

RESIDENTS SPENDING MONEY ON HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, BASICS

Kevin Williams, manager of Meeks Lumber and Hardware, helps Anna Boyd of Bentonville pick out a ladder to suit a home improvement project Thursday at the Rogers hardware store. Boyd said she recently found out she and her husband are getting an income tax refund and plans to use the money on home improvement and landscaping projects.

Some are waiting until Thursday’s deadline to file a tax return, but Casey Koenigseder of Bentonville is expecting his refund any day.
