Life Way looks to rebound

— The Life Way Christian School volleyball team looks to bounce back from its first losses of the season this week.

After beating Van Buren Christian Academy 3-0 at home this past Tuesday, the Lady Warriors lost on the road to Cookson Hills Christian Ministries and Tulsa NOAH (North Oklahoma Association of Home School). Life Way lost both matches 2-0.

The Lady Warriors hope to rebound this week in a home match tonight against The Arkansas School of the Deaf and road matches at Cornerstone Christian Academy (Tillar) on Friday and at Ridgeway Christian School (Pine Bluff) on Saturday.

The Warrior and Lady Warrior cross country teams raced well on Saturday at the Tahlequah (Okla.) Tiger Invitational.

Taylor Hills, Laura Lancaster, Samuel Riester and Randy Stephens all won individual medals. The varsity boys team finished fifth overall and the junior high boys were third. The cross country teams will compete Saturday at the Oklahoma State University Cowboy Jamboree.
