— The Fayetteville Lady Bulldogs will seek to defend their Class 7A golf championship today at Fianna Hills Country Club in Fort Smith and win their fifth-consecutive title.

The Lady Bulldogs go into the tournament as co-favorites along with Conway.

Fayetteville is led by sophomore Olivia Lavy and junior Micah Radler, who posted career rounds in high school competition last Friday to win Fayetteville's seventhconsecutive 7AWest golf title at the Bella Vista Country Club.

Lavy shot a 68 despite missing two recent tournaments with a wrist injury, and Radler fired a 71.

"A lot of my putts didn't go in today," Radler said. "I hit good putts, but they went right over the edge and lipped out. I could've played a lot better, but I'm pretty happy with my score."

Lavy hit 17 greens in regulation, scoring identical 34s on the front andback. Her length off the tee and a dialed-in iron game set up her six birdies.

"I stuck a bunch of shots," Lavy said. " That'swhere my birdies came from."

Shelby Daniels shot an 84 for the Lady Bulldogs last Friday and Alex Del Sol shot a 110.
