BENTONVILLE — Bob and Norma Satterlee of Rogers will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Sept. 30.
Bob Satterlee and Norma Garriott were married on Sept. 30, 1969, in Donna, Texas, by the Rev. Fred G. Parnell.
Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1978 and from Farmers Insurance Group in Rogers in 2002. Norma worked at CTS Corp. for 11 years before retiring from CEI Engineering in 2002.
The couple have four children, Mark Satterlee and his wife Shantel of Carl Junction, Mo., Danny Satterlee and his wife Wendy of Panama City, Fla., and Michele Boydston and her husband Kevin, and Michael Satterlee, all of Bentonville. They have eight grandchildren, Dustin, Cole, Ty and Zoe Satterlee of Carl Junction, Caitlin Satterlee of Panama City, Andrew Satterlee and his wife Amy of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Heather Hill and her husband Steven of Rogers and Hayden Boydston of Bentonville.
The Satterlees will be honored with a cookout, hosted by their children and grandchildren, at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at the couple's home.
