Thumbs up to the presence of the Arkansas state troopers in Bella Vista. I make two round trips to Bentonville each day with two small children in the car and get frustrated when people tailgate me because I choose to follow the 45-mile-per-hour speed limit as posted. Thanks to the Arkansas State Policefor their support.- Bella Vista

Thumbs down to the Benton County Fair. Dirty, old rides, not many to choose from. No food selections. Rabbits - hardly any compared to years past - PLEASE. Miss the old fairgrounds - may have been old, and small, but there was good turnout, lots of good food and things to do. It's a shame!

Thumbs up to the Naturals baseball team for a good season. We, your fans, are proud of you, even if you didn't win the trophy. We will still congratulate Midland for their win.
