LENA LOIS BIGGS, 83, of Little Rock passed away Saturday,Sept. 26, 2009, after a five-year courageous battle with cancer. She was a longtime member of Ironton Baptist Church and was also a member of AARP, where she enjoyed playing Bingo.

She is survived by her son, Tom Biggs and wife, Linda of Little Rock; daughter, Judy Loetscher and husband, Ray of Little Rock; two granddaughters, Pamela Huspen and husband, Jim of Chicago, Ill., and Alicia Bowman and husband, Bobby of Little Rock; three great-grandchildren, Todd Stone of Bryant, Madori and Madison Bowman of Little Rock; and two brothers, Homer Perry and wife, Susie, and Leslie Perry and wife, Roberta, all of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Tom Biggs; two brothers, Marvin Perry and Millard Perry.

JAMES "JIM" CARUTHERS of Little Rock died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009.He was born Feb. 13, 1931, in Hammondsville, Ark., to the late Clayton and Millie Caruthers. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He dedicated countless hours of his time tochurch service. He was one of the founding members of Faith United Methodist Church. He was retired from Aegon Insurance Company. He served his country in the United States Air Force for four years.

He is survived by his wife Betty S. Caruthers; son, Scott Caruthers (Paula); daughter, Suzanne Harrison (Barry); granddaughters, Kari Caruthers, Rachel Mueller (Chris), Melissa Bridgman (Gary); grandson, Matthew McGuire; two greatgrandchildren, Hunter Mueller and Nash Bridgman; sister, Mary Myers (Wayne); brother, John B. Caruthers (Inge). He was preceded in death by his sister, Verneice Adams.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at Roller Chenal Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sue Howe officiating. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

CHESTER DERYLAK, 80, of Little Rock, passed away Sept. 25, 2009.Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Dec. 15, 1928. He was a member of Geyer Springs United Methodist Church and was a retired purchaser with the Department of Defense.

Preceded indeath by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Earlene Derylak; son, Steven Derylak (Kathy); daughter, Paula Derylak all of Little Rock, Ark.; granddaughter, Michelle Aaron of Redfield, Ark.

RANDOLPH J. GRIFFITH, 61, of North Little Rock, passed awaypeacefully Sept. 23, 2009. He was born Oct. 13, 1947, to the late Bob and Agnes Griffith, and preceded in death by his niece, Courtney Begin.

Randy was a loving brother, dedicated friend,and outstanding uncle. He is survived by his twin brother, Ronny Griffith; sisters, Barbara Stearns (Ted), Peggy Mooney (Kim), and Sharon Parker (Dan); nephews, Brent Begin (Stacy), Rob Stearns (Val), Ryan Stearns (Candice), Ben Griffith (Meghan), Matt Brown (Kristi); and nieces, Jennifer Ouzts (Jeff), Mallory Brown, Brittany Parker and Haley Parker; as well as six great nieces and nephews.

Randy retired after 30 years of service with ABF Freight Systems. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a United States Marine. He enjoyed many friendships through his work, military service, travels, hobbies, and everyday life. During his retirement he especially enjoyed many hours with his friends at the Pat Hays Center.

DONOVAN LEE SEABOCH, 75, of North Little Rock passed awaySaturday, Sept. 19, 2009. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Maurice and Pauline Seaboch.

Mr. Seaboch graduated from East Des Moines High School and was an alumnusof Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, with a B.A. in architecture. He had been a member of A.I.A. and a registered Professional Engineer.

He was an avid scuba driver and traveled the world to pursue his passion.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Judith Seaboch; his sister, Mrs. Maureen Jenkins of Orlando, Fla.; nieces, Mrs. Jeanie Poppie of Edina, Minn., and Mrs. Jodi Fadool of Huntsville, Ala.; an aunt, Mrs. Evelyn Patterson of Cedar Falls, Iowa; an uncle, Tom Jetmund of Ogden, Iowa; and numerous cousins.

BEEBE - John Joseph "Jack" Olivo, 71, of Beebe, Ark., was bornFeb. 14, 1938, to John and Caroline (Ahrens) Olivo, and he died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009. Jack was retired from Illinois Bell Telephone. He was a member of Harrison Chapel Baptist Church,which he loved. He had a heart for volunteerism and helping others. He most recently was involved with Mannafest Blessings Food Bank and White County Aging Program where he delivered Meals on Wheels.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Carol Larson.

CABOT - Anthony Ray Martinez Sr., 47, of Cabot died Sept. 23,2009. Born Nov. 7, 1961, in Lawton, Okla., the son of the late Henry Martinez and Joy Martinez, and stepfather Duane Holden. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Martinez. Heserved in the military 1980-1985. His awards include Army Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Rifle Marksmanship.

He is survived by wife, Stacey Martinez; his sons, Anthony Martinez Jr. (Ashley) of Jacksonville, Austin Martinez, Cabot, and his daughter, Amber Martinez of Jacksonville; two brothers, Jimmy Martinez (DeRidder, La.), Robert Martinez of Jacksonville; three sisters, Norma Coffin (Duane) of Elgin, Okla., Susie Cunningham (Bobby) of Jacksonville, Peggy Martinez of Liberty Center, Ohio; three grandchildren, Gracie, Trinity and Destiny, and several nieces and nephews. CLINTON - Hazel Marie "Jackie" Benedetti, 79, of Clinton, Ark .,passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at Ozark Health Medical Center, Clinton, Ark. She was born Jan. 26, 1930, at Memphis, Tenn., to the late Spencer and Irene Hicks Hurt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dorothy Greslie; brother, Sonny Hurt; and grandson, John Henderson.

She is survived by her husband Frank Benedetti of Bee Branch, Ark.; four sons, Frank Benedetti and wife Judy of Memphis, Tenn., Bill Benedetti and wife Tammi of Hollister, Mo., Tom Benedetti and wife Michelle of Bee Branch, Ark., Joe Benedetti and wife Lora of Clinton, Ark.; one daughter, Regina Booher and husband Alvin of Clinton, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a niece, Mary Ann Greshan and husband Joe and family; and a sister, Vivian Franklin of Memphis, Tenn.; and many relatives and friends.

FAYETTEVILLE - Jane Marie McKimmey Baugus, 77, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, in Springdale, Ark. She was born April 4, 1932, in Little Rock, Ark., to Eugene E. Raines, Sr. and Mary M. (Jones) Raines.

Jane was married to Perry Mc-Kimmey and had four children. Perry died in 1960. In 1962, Jane married Chester Baugus and welcomed Chester's four children. Even though there were eight children to care for, she always made room for one or two more if they needed a safe, loving home to call their own.

She loved to write about her children and her history. She loved to travel and collect gorgeous glass. She was a retired medical transcriptionist, gardener, and bird watcher. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her three sons, Mike McKimmey and wife Virginia of Springdale, Vernon Mc-Kimmey and wife, Carmen Flowers of Lubec, Maine, Marty McKimmey of Albany, Ga.; one daughter, Susan Ramey and husband Jim of Fayetteville; two step-sons, Leroy Baugus and wife Susi of Searcy, Andy Baugus of Fayetteville; one step-daughter, Lois Scott and husband Stephen of Boulder, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Patricia A. Goehring.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, in the Chapel of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with Reverend Von Dell Mooney officiating.

HOT SPRINGS - A.J. Parker, 79, of Hot Springs, died Saturday,Sept. 26, 2009.

He was born Oct. 25, 1929, in Hot Springs, the son of Jeff Thomas Parker and Altha Odessa Ratliff Parker. On Dec. 30, 1953, he was married to Opal Barnes. He was preceded indeath by his parents.

A.J. was a member of Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church and a farmer. He was past president and life member of the Garland County Fair Association and a Garland County Farm Bureau member. A.J. worked for Keith Smith Company for 21 years and was a former agriculture teacher at Lake Hamilton.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Opal Parker of Hot Springs; two sons and daughtersin-law, James and Joy Parker of Hot Springs and Donny and Sarah Parker of Stuttgart; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Bruce Cozart of Hot Springs; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Claudine Parker of Hot Springs; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, in the Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Joe Bob Smith and Brother Herbert Watts officiating.

Interment will be in the Fourche Loupe Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday evening.

MOUNTAIN HOME - Charles Robert Barton Jr. left this world to be with Our Lord Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009. A vivacious individual, Charles was born Oct. 7, 1948 in Conway, Ark., to Virginia Keller Barton and his late father, Charles Robert Barton Sr. Before receiving his degree in English literature from Hendrix College, Charles served his nation faithfully in the Naval services during Vietnam.

Charles possessed a great love of the outdoors and fishing, and created his company, TANFLY, L.L.C. in the pursuit of these passions. After retiring from a career in real estate, Charles went on to become a personal chef. Charles is survived by his daughter, Rachel Barton; beloved grandson, Donovan Jalihal; loving mother, Virginia Barton; brothers, Scott and Jeff Barton; sister, Missy Allgood; nieces Cara Barton, Ginny and Keller Allgood; and nephews, Rob, J.J., and Alex Barton.

WHITE HALL - Carroll "Joker" Hill, 61, of White Hall, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at his home. Joker was born Sept. 24, 1948, in Pine Bluff, to the late George A. and Lula Katherine Burris Hill. He was reared and received his education in Pine Bluff, wherehe graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1966. After high school, he joined the United States Navy and served during Vietnam, Beirut, and Grenada. He retired from the U. S. Navy in 1988 as an E-6 First Class Petty Officer. Joker married Rebecca Wood on March 24, 1967, in Pine Bluff. He was employed at the Pine Bluff Arsenal for 20 years, and was currently working in the Facilities Department.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post No. 4455.

Joker was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and Steve Hill. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rebecca Hill of White Hall, two daughters and sons-in-law, Samantha and John Mason of Redfield, and Michele and Carl Garner of Mesquite, Texas; five grandgirls, Shelbey, Lorna-Beth, Tarryn, Bryce and Parker; and a brother, Billy Hill of White Hall.

The family will receive friends Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Robinson's. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, 10 a.m., in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend E.R. M. Freeman was born Nov. 19, 1948 in North Little Rock, Ark. He died Sept. 24, 2009 at East Alabama Medical Center.

Mr. Freeman had been a resident of the Auburn area since 1988. He worked for 30 years in development and fundraising for institutions of higher education.

He is survived by wife, Julia R.
