Arkansas' Ramon Broadway tries to tackle Alabama's Mark Ingram on Saturday.
Alabama had three touchdowns of 50 or more yards, and the third-ranked Crimson Tide shut down the Arkansas Razorbacks for a 35-7 victory Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama (4-0, 1-0 SEC) led 14-0 at halftime after Trent Richardson ran 52 yards for a touchdown and Greg McElroy threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Julio Jones on a reverse flea-flicker. Both scores came in the second quarter.
Arkansas (1-2, 0-2) closed the gap to 14-7 on Ryan Mallett's 18-yard touchdown pass to Greg Childs with 10:45 left in the third quarter.
The Razorbacks got no closer, however, as McElroy answered 20 seconds later with an 80-yard touchdown pass to Marquis Maze.
