Events and Activities
Vandergriff Elementary School will have a 2009 Vandergriff Tailgate Party from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today at Kraynik Track. The event will feature bouncers, a dunk tank, karaoke, music and food from the Razorback Hog Grill.
The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History will hold a photo identification day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Free lunch will be provided at noon. The museum has received more than 500,000 photos from the 1950s, '60s, '70s and early '80s, and many are notidentified. RSVP to 751-2752 so the museum can get an accurate number for lunch. Poultry 101, a threeday hands-on workshop, will be held Tuesday to Oct. 1 at the Center of Excellence for Poultry Science on the University of Arkansas campus. The workshop is designed to introduce participants to production and processing factors that impact final product quality, safety and consistency.
