2 banks curbing overdraft charges

Lawmaker's bill precedes change

Bank of America Corp. and JPMorgan Chase & Co., the two biggest U.S. banks by deposits, are cutting overdraft fees amid criticism from lawmakers over the way the lenders charge customers.
