Pig Trail Harley-Davidson brings BB&B festivities to Rogers

Posted: September 23, 2009 at 6:46 a.m.

— Pig Trail Harley-Davidson is bringing all of the excitement of Bikes, Blues and BBQ north from Dickson Street into the heart of Rogers as the dealership hosts several events for the bikers taking part in the rally.

With between 10,000 and 20,000 bikers expected to show up throughout the week at the dealership, Pig Trail will kick Bikes, Blues and BBQ off bright and early today with more than 50 vendors set up outside the dealership. David Uhl, a Harley-Davidson artist, will set up inside the dealership lounge to paint and display his collectible art.

On Friday and Saturday, the Teresi Dyno-Drags truck will be set up outside of Pig Trail to allow anyone interested an opportunity to hop on a bike and go drag racing.

The Disabled American Veterans mobile unit will also be at the dealership Friday and Saturday to help local veterans with any concerns they may have about their benefits.

Keeping with the spirit of Bikes, Blues and BBQ, Pig Trail will give away free barbecue lunches from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday; on Sunday, the Harley-Davidson shop will close the week's events out with a free breakfast from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., a blessing of the bikes at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and a live band from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

All Bikes, Blues and BBQ events hosted by Pig Trail are free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter.
