Vandergriff Elementary School will have a 2009 Vandergriff Tailgate Party from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Kraynik Track. The event will feature bouncers, a dunk tank, karaoke, music and food from the Razorback Hog Grill.
The Wedington Fire Department will have a pancake breakfast from 6-11 a.m. Saturday. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for children 6-12 years old, and children younger than 6 eat free. Menu includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, juice, coffee and milk. The fire department is located five miles from Interstate 540 on Arkansas 16 West.
The Love Out Loud! Art and Music Festival will take place 7-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Vintage Fellowship, 3416 N. College Ave., in Fayetteville. The festival is intended to raise awareness and sponsorship for the arts in ministry. There will be live music and artwork from local artists on display.
The Shackelford Family Reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Elkins Community Center. Attendees are encouraged to bring items for a potluck and photos. For more information, call Floy Robbins at 643-2325.
