Inquiry plan boosts AIG stock
House panel to examine reducing insurer's bailout

Shares of American International Group Inc. jumped more than 20 percent Monday after the head of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform said that panel will examine a plan to reduce the company's bailout package.
