— LR Touchdown Club to hear from Fulmer

Former Tennessee Volunteers Coach Phillip Fulmer will be the guest speaker at today's meeting of the Little Rock Touchdown Club at the Embassy Suites hotel in Little Rock.

Fulmer coached at Tennessee from 1993-2008, posting a record of 152-52, and won the 1998 national championship and two SEC titles.

Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. with the program beginning at noon. Admission is $15 for club members and $25 for nonmembers. Membership dues are $50. Fifty-Yard Line memberships, which includes reserved seating and a photo with each speaker, are $250.

TENNIS Red Wolves, Razorbacks participate in Wichita

Arkansas State's Maria Aleman and Tina Ojdanic topped Arkansas' Lindsay Gray and Adriana Nieto 9-7 at the Wichita State Fall Classic on Sunday in Wichita, Kan.

Also for ASU, Jenny Herring and Rone van Wyk lost 8-3 to Oklahoma State's Alisa Buslajeva and Iryna Khatsko.

Herring won her final singles match of the weekend, topping Kansas State's Nina Sertic 6-4, 6-1. Can Wyk lost to Oklahoma's Katelyn Connelly 6-0, 7-5, and Oklahoma State's Leyla Simmons defeated Ojdanic 6-2, 6-3.

VOLLEYBALLRazorbacks lose to Florida

Arkansas lost 25-16, 25-19, 26-24 to Florida on Sunday at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville.

Arkansas (7-6, 1-1 SEC) was led by Killi Stipanovich and Jasmine Norton, who each had seven kills.

SAU winless in Alabama

Southern Arkansas (1-18) lost 3-0 to North Alabama and West Alabama on Saturday in Florence, Ala.

SAU fell to North Alabama 13-25, 14-25, 19-25 and lost 8-25, 17-25, 14-25 against West Alabama. Maggie Glover had six kills against North Alabama, and Jordan White had four against West Alabama.

CROSS COUNTRY ASU finishes first in Louisiana

Arkansas State's men and women each finished first at the ULM Warkhawk Cross Country Festival on Saturday in Monroe, La.

In the women's race ASU placed five of its eight athletes in the top nine with Chelsea Weaver and Samantha Salinas taking first and second places respectively.

ASU's James Ngwiri placed second in the men's race.

SOCCER Razorbacks shut out FIU

Arkansas defeated Florida International 2-0 on Sunday in Miami.

Goalkeeper Britni Williams earned her 18th career shutout with a season-high four saves. Ally Atkins and Kat Moffett scored for the Razorbacks (6-0-2).

UALR loses at Louisiana Tech

UALR (3-5) lost 1-0 to Louisiana Tech (10-0) on Sunday in Ruston, La., after Mal Feece scored on a header in the 76th minute.

ASU defeated at Oklahoma State

Arkansas State lost 5-0 to Oklahoma State on Sunday in Stillwater, Okla.

Freshman Lucy Brient led the Red Wolves with three shots.

UCA beats Southern

Central Arkansas defeated Southern University of Baton Rouge 3-0 Sunday in Conway on goals from Elizabeth Brady, Brittney Warren and Melissa Hick.

Central Baptist falls to Centenary

Central Baptist College (4-2-2) lost 2-1 to Centenary on Sunday in Shreveport. CBC's lone goal came from Carmal Kavika in the 68th minute.

GOLF Razorbacks finish 13th

Arkansas' women finished 13th at the Branch Law Firm/ Dick McGuire Invitational on Sunday in Albuquerque, N.M.

Arkansas had a final-round 305 to finish with a 908. Pepperdine won, shooting 17-under 859.

Arkansas' Kelli Shean finished 17th with a 221 (75-70-76). Kristin Ingam finished 54th with a 229 (79-77-73). Tiffany Phelps was 62nd at 231 (78-76-77). Alex Schulte also was 62nd (72-80-79).
