BENTONVILLE — The Lifeway Christian School volleyball team remained undefeated with two wins this past week with a 3-0 victory against Destiny Christian Academy out of Waggoner, Okla. last Tuesday and a 3-0 win against Ridgeway Christian School out of Pine Bluff on Friday.
The Lady Warriors (5-0, 3-0) have five games left on the regular season schedule and will play in the Arkansas Association of Christian Schools State Tournament Oct. 23-24.
Cross Country
The Lifeway Christian School cross country teams hosted the first-ever Warrior Cross Country Invitational at the Fish Hatchery in Centerton last Saturday.
The Warriors and Lady Warriors earned first place in their respective events and 11 of the 12 medals awards.
The teams will be competing in the Tahlequah (Okla.) "Tiger" Cross Country Invitational this Saturday. They'll also compete in the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla., on Oct. 3 and the OBU Invitational in Shawnee, Okla., on Oct. 8.
The AACS State meet will be held in Centerton on Oct. 10.
