Thumbs up to John Pelphrey, who, besides doing a great job with the University of Arkansas' basketball program, is teaching his players major life lessons. He is a man of high integrity and high character. Mr. Pelphrey is a great coach, and we are so proud of him and proud to be season-ticket holders. Our team, the university and the entire state of Arkansas shouldback him 100 percent. God will bless him for the decisions he is making.- Rogers
Thumbs up to the voters in Fayetteville for voting down the millage increase in Tuesday's special election. The Bentonville School Board would be wise to take note that the taxpayers have had enough. In this economy, any attempt to raise the millage for the Bentonville School District will meet the same fate.
