100 YEARS AGO Sept. 19, 1909 Plans have been drawn for a new modern theater to replace the present Capital theater, and negotiations are now on for a loan of $60,000 with which to construct the new play house, according to the announcement made last night by one of the stockholders of the Capital Theater Company, which own the Capital Theater building on West Markham street, between Louisiana and Center streets.
