Homeless vets, others benefit from outreach event

The event provided a number of social services to area veterans and the homeless including housing aid, vision screening, haircuts and a meal.
The Jefferson Center for Adult and Community Education took on a temporary role as a location for homeless veterans and other needy individuals to get help Thursday.
