Multiple reasons help explain Tuesday's millage vote

They just didn't make the sale. A week before voters rejected the 4.9-mill tax increase to fund a$115 million Fayetteville High School, I knew it was in big trouble. I was waiting my turn in the barbershop, where six barbers were clipping and snipping hairfrom six heads. All of the talk centered around the upcoming tax election.
