SPRINGDALE: Leaders educated on new methods

Event focuses on at-risk students

Sanford Tollette, Executive Director of Joseph Pfeifer Kiwanis Camp in Little Rock, addresses the Greater Graduation Project Summit Wednesday in Springdale. Tollette said the time to work with at-risk students is while they are in the early stages of their education.

Creative approaches to curriculum and personal relationships with influential adults will motivate at-risk students to overcome obstacles to graduation, a group of school and community leaders said Wednesday.
