Group talking up hefty tax on soda to reduce obesity

Sen. Max Baucus, D-Montana, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, said Wednesday that he still believes he'll get bipartisan support for his health-care measure.
In a bid to ramp up the public health battle against obesity, a group of nutrition and economics experts are pushing for a tax of 1 cent on every ounce of sodas and other beverages containing sugar.
