Delta group decries absent agency head

As members of Congress, politicians, educators and businessmen from across the Mississippi Delta region met in Washington this week, the man at the helm of the federal agency charged with funneling economic development grants throughout the poor, rural area was a no-show, drawing the ire of some in attendance.
