100 YEARS AGO Sept. 16, 1909 A large force of men is at work on the new Union depot putting forth every effort to complete that building between now and October 4, the date fixed by the Arkansas Railroad Commission as the limit on extra time allotted the railroad company. The work is centered almost entirely on the steel structural work which will form the approach from the tracks to the depot.
