Clorox Cup draws big crowds
An estimated 5,000 people descended on Bentonville and Bella Vista for the event.

Cesar Merlos, with the five-time state champion Northwest Arkansas Lightning U18 Strikers, headed a corner kick into the goal against El Dorado United at Sugar Creek Soccer Park in Bella Vista on Sunday. The Lightning defeated El Dorado 7-0 in the match.
Heading toward the end of the final day of the Northwest Arkansas Lightning Soccer Club's Clorox Cup at Sugar Creek Soccer Park on Sunday, cars, vans and SUVs were still pouring into the facility and finding it difficult to find parking.
