Building bridges: Faiths join to support synagogue

Former University of Arkansas basketball coach Nolan Richardson speaks Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Springdale during the Faith to Faith Gala benefiting Temple Shalom.
The second annual Faith to Faith Gala on Sunday evening brought Temple Shalom several steps closer to finishing construction and furnishing a new synagogue at the corner of Sang Avenue and Cleveland Street in Fayetteville.
